Q: What is the process for registering a potential recruited sales associate?
A: As a sponsoring sales associate, you will need to complete the registration form and facilitate an introduction between the recruited sales associate and the office manager at the participating Anywhere Advisors company (Sothebys’ International Realty, Inc., Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty, Equestrian Sotheby’s International Realty LLC, Coldwell Banker Realty, Corcoran or Coldwell Banker Commercial). In order to be eligible for the referral fee commission, the registration form must be completed and submitted by the office manager to licensing prior to the recruited sales associate being affiliated with the company.

Q: What if I recruit a sales associate who joins an independently owned Sotheby’s International Realty (or other Anywhere Brands) company?
A: There are no referral rewards payments under this program for sales associates who join independently owned companies, even if it is a Sotheby’s International Realty (or other Anywhere Brands) company.  This is an exclusive program for sponsoring sales associates at Sotheby’s International Realty, Inc., Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty or Equestrian Sotheby’s International Realty LLC who recruit sales associates to an Anywhere Advisors company (Sothebys’ International Realty, Inc., Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty, Equestrian Sotheby’s International Realty LLC, Coldwell Banker Realty, Corcoran or Coldwell Banker Commercial). Sales associates who join a company other than one of the Anywhere Advisors companies listed above are not eligible for referral rewards payments under this program.

Q: Is there a limit to how many sales associates I can recruit
A: There is not a limit to the number, nor is there a recruiting referral fee commission cap. For the first two years after the sales associate you refer joins the applicable Anywhere Advisors company, you will earn the equivalent of 2% of the recruited sales associate’s gross commission income (GCI) on closed transactions. Beginning the third year, you will continue to earn equal to 1% of the recruited sales associate’s GCI on all closed deals for as long as you both remain associated with a participating Anywhere Advisors company (Sotheby’s International Realty, Inc., Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty, Equestrian Sotheby’s International Realty LLC, Corcoran, Coldwell Banker Realty, or Coldwell Banker Commercial).

Q: Can I recruit a sales associate who was affiliated with the company previously?
A: Yes, if six (6) months have passed since the prior affiliation.  A sales associate is not an eligible recruit under the Sotheby’s International Realty Referral Rewards program if the sales associate was affiliated with any Anywhere Real Estate, Inc. brand (e.g. a Corcoran, CENTURY 21, Coldwell Banker, Coldwell Banker Commercial, ERA, Sotheby’s International Realty, or Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate brokerage office) or any real estate brokerage office operated by Compass, Inc. or its subsidiaries and affiliated entities and/or their franchisees within six (6) months of their new affiliation date.

Q: Are all transactions included in the gross commission (GCI) calculation for the referral fee commission?
A: All self-generated and company-generated business conducted by the recruited sales associate will be eligible for Referral Rewards unless there is a referral fee due to another source. This includes the recruited sales associate’s GCI earned on sales and leasing transactions.

Q: How do I sponsor a sales associate?
A: As a sponsoring sales associate, you will fill out and sign the registration form which names the recruited sales associate. This form must be submitted to the destination office manager, who will complete the remainder of the form with the recruited sales associate and submit to licensing. The form must be submitted to sothebyslicensing@anywhere.re prior to (or with) the recruited sales associate’s affiliation with the company in order to be eligible. The documentation cannot be submitted after affiliation. Reports will be provided to document and track the closed transactions during the following two-year period and beyond.

Q: What happens if I or the recruited sales associate disassociates from the company?
A: The program terminates, and no further payments are due when either the recruited sales associate or the sponsoring sales associate disassociates from the company for any reason.

Q: Are there any restrictions from where I may recruit?
A: Yes. A sales associate is not an eligible recruit under the Sotheby’s International Realty Referral Rewards program if the sales associate was affiliated with any Anywhere Real Estate, Inc. brand (e.g. a Corcoran, CENTURY 21, Coldwell Banker, Coldwell Banker Commercial, ERA, Sotheby’s International Realty, or Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate brokerage office) or any real estate brokerage office operated by Compass, Inc or its subsidiaries and affiliated entities and/or their franchisees.

Q: How does Referral Rewards differ from what I have heard about at profit-sharing real estate companies?
A: Referral Rewards is simple. It does not integrate complicated formulas or calculations to determine who is eligible to participate or how much they can earn. Program highlights include:

• The potential for unlimited Referral Rewards earnings
• The Referral Reward formula is calculated based on top line revenue, not office profitability
• Team recruiting eligibility, and more

TEAM RELATED QUESTIONS

Q: Can I recruit a sales associate(s) to a team?
A: Yes, recruits onto teams are eligible. The sponsoring sales associate is only eligible for Referral Rewards payments on closed transactions where the recruited sales associate is showing as the lead sales associate versus the team leader; thereby receiving gross commission income (GCI). The sponsoring sales associate will not receive Referral Rewards payments on closed transactions where the team leader is credited for the GCI.

Q: If I recruit a sales associate to a team, am I eligible to earn rewards on the entire team’s production?
A: No, a sponsoring sales associate is only eligible for Referral Rewards payments with regard to the specific recruited sales associate, not the entire team. A sponsoring sales associate is only eligible for Referral Rewards payments on closed transactions when the recruited sales associate is showing as the lead sales associate versus the team leader; thereby receiving GCI.

Q: If I am a team leader or team member, can I earn rewards for recruiting sales associates to my own team?
A: Yes! The team leader or team member is eligible for Referral Rewards payments on any closed transactions where the recruited sales associate is showing as the lead sales associate, thereby receiving GCI. The team leader or team member will not receive Referral Rewards payments on closed transactions where the team leader is credited for the GCI.

Q: If I am the sponsoring sales associate and join the team of my recruited sales associate, will my referral fees from that sales associate’s GCI continue?
A: Yes, your Referral Rewards payments will continue according to the guidelines of the program.

Q: If my team dissolves, will I be eligible for a referral fee from those sales associates who were recruited by me to the team, but now are independent sales associates?
A: Yes, your Referral Rewards payments will continue according to the guidelines of the program.

Q: Can more than one sponsoring sales associate refer the same sale associate?
A: Yes, two sponsoring sales associates can refer the same recruited sales associate. In this scenario, the two sponsoring sales associates will split Referral Rewards payments as follows:

• If one of the sponsoring sales associates leaves the company, the other sponsoring sales associate will continue to receive their 1%.
• After two years, the Referral Reward percentage will be reduced, with .5% going to each recruiter.
